Palm oil has always been a controversial product as for palm oil plantation deforestation is required which is very harmful to our environment. Deforestation also leads to losing homes of orangutans and being put at risk of losing their lives.
In some parts sustainable palm oil is also produced and it should be encouraged to use such products which contains palm oil that’s been sourced in a responsible way, without causing harm to the environment.
