The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released their most experienced cornerback.
Vernon Hargreaves was let go for what was deemed a lack of hustle. He was, by far, the most experienced cornerback on the Bucs roster, a reason why they picked up his 5th year option for 2020. The option because guaranteed for injury only.
The release makes him a free agent. With teams needing corner help, it will be interesting to see where he ends up. Does a playoff contender take a chance on him or is he in line for a team like the Giants which are in desperate need of help in the secondary.
