Andrew Luck, the once promising top pick for the Colts, has retired. Injuries derailed the career of the leader of the Colts starting in 2015.
As the replacement for the legendary Payton Manning, Luck led the Colts to three straight playoff appearances. He missed the better parts of two seasons before returning last year.
He was Comeback Player of the Year for his efforts in, again, leading the Colts to the playoffs. Also shown was that he is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
Injuries hit him again this off season which took the fun out of the game. Luck said he is tired of the injury-rehab cycle that he found himself on.
