Tesla keeps pushing out the updates, enhancing its autopilot features. Back in 2017, it introduced an enhanced braking system. Now it added the ability for the system to recognize pedestrians and bikes in crosswalks. Tesla believes each new update will bring it closer to full autonomy. This is a step by step process so far but the hope, for them, is that the AI knowledge takes off at some point.
