As Christians, God calls us to live a step above the rest of the world. He wants you to be set apart. When you do something the world calls permissible, but it lowers your standards or hinders your relationship with Christ, you’re compromising. God has already made it clear that compromising his commands is wrong. Anything that compromises where you stand with God is wrong. The bible says,
If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
John 14:15 ESV
For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.
Hebrews 10:26 ESV
If God searched through your heart, would you be embarrassed at what he’d find? Are there things in your life that you’re trying to hide?
Pray It!
