Jason Pierre Paul had an interesting career. He lost a few fingers in a 4th of July fireworks accident while a member of the New York Giants. This cost the all-pro defensive end an entire season.
He was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before the 2018 season as the Giants were looking to rebuilt. Pierre-Paul had a terrific campaign last season registering double digits in sacks. He showed the all-pro talent is still there.
This off season JPP suffered a broken neck in a car accident. This was something that was projected to cost him another season.
Incredibly, he was activated for this weeks game. He will be playing on Sunday less than 6 months after breaking his neck.
