Dabo Sweeney has an interesting way of dealing with player problems. With the Clemson Tigers expected to compete in the college football playoffs, he is not going to tolerate a lack of discipline from any of his players.
Andrew Booth found out exactly what that means.
On Saturday's game, Booth got ejected for throwing a Louisville player down and throwing a punch. This is not tolerated especially by Sweeney.
He immediately sent the player to the locker room to watch the rest of the game. This was not the end of the matter.
Sweeney told reporters that Booth had plenty of time to think about the error of his ways. Instead of taking the team charter back Saturday night, Booth was put on a 7 hour bus ride. This, according to the coach, provided the solitude Booth required to think about what he did.
