Do it yourself!
The rules are:

This is not some kind of contest or Steemit challenge, is just the way I choose to play this game.
When I say off-grid, I mean it. The same with the reduction of carbon print. Anyway, enough with that, let me put this in a perspective.
I see the world as being a huge puzzle game. And everything and everyone in it like puzzle pieces. In my vision, all the people are the same thing, puzzle pieces. That doesn't mean they are the same, but rather different. Each one is unique in his own way. Different shapes and different characters, with different tastes, qualities and weaknesses. We all have different needs, and also are different gifted.
In my view, there's no loser or stupid, just misplaced.
So yeah, it's just a big puzzle game filled with many others puzzle games. As an example, permaculture is a good puzzle. You don't force pieces, but find their best possible place on the table. Free market is yet another puzzle, and so on.
What is interesting is that the pieces from a larger game, can play smaller games.
A gardener can play the permaculture game, as well as an entrepreneur it's playing the market one.
Now, some players are trying to change the rules, because they don't have the patience to play by them.
Educational system of the last few centuries is doing nothing more but trying to modify some pieces forcefully.
The consumerism culture is another good example of altering the rules of the free market game. You no longer fullfil the needs, but are creating a market for a product you have to sell.
Monsanto and GMO is the perfect example.
Did I lost you yet? What I am trying to say is, find your place in the game ;).
Uhmm! This was supposed to be a post about DIY, lol! Let's get back to that :P.
A new house for one of our dogs was needed. In wich case, there's one answer only. To get my sorry ass to work and make one :D!
After a quick look around, I found the materials required.
And got the right tools for the job.
The whole process can be seen in the video. No measurements have been taken, so don't ask me for any of that. Also, if you need to ask additional questions, you will never be able to replicate this. I had no plan whatsoever, I do everything on the fly. As a matter of fact, I took the pictures of the tools and materials, after the job was done :P.
Btw, the song used in the video it belongs to this awesome man. Watch the original video of the song here
There are more projects I currently work on, one of them is a solar fruits and vegetables dryer. Is going to be quite unique, so keep an eye on my blog , just in case.
My video is at DLive
