On Sunday I did outdoor climbing for the first time ever, and to tell the truth, I was terrified! Which was surprising, as I've been doing indoor climbing and bouldering every week for the past two years and loving it, I've been doing a lot of scrambling up to grade 3, and the week before I did the Aonach Eagach, known as mainland Britain's narrowest ridge, which is a pretty rocky route - and I loved it!
I enjoyed the outdoor climbing too, but I couldn't get the image of me smashing against the rocks out of my mind. Maybe it's because I had an accident last year when I fell, and my face did smash against a rock - I lost five teeth.
Despite this, I loved the challenge of the outdoor climbing, and I felt my confidence coming back towards the end of my last climb. I'm looking forward to the next outing.
I speeded up the video, as my climbing was pretty slow!
This was part two of my weekend away - the first camping trip I'd done for at least 10 years! I also visited a gorgeous beauty spot. Hope you enjoy watching it!
