The journey from Texas to the Pacific Ocean has had it's challenges and that just makes being here that much sweeter. I have had to improve my mechanical and electrical skills to keep this 1973 Dodge Travco aka @thedodgemahal going down the road, with generator, full plumbing, and soon solar panels/ generator for boondocking power when the sun is out!
After making it through Death Valley and thousands of feet of elevation and miles of travel, we have made it to Highway 1. We also found a secret RV spot from our friend @happymoneyman that is just ridiculously beautiful. After escaping the heat briefly in the the mountains near Ruidoso, New Mexico we have been dealing with quite a bit of heat all the way until we got to the ocean.
These last two days finally coming to a resting point and having a chance to explore have had my heart singing. This place is so beautiful and we lack nothing in our mobile tiny house. I find myself incredibly thankful for
everything and we have really only just started!
@lindseylambz is compiling and editing all of our shots and stories for the upcoming video on @thedodgemahal so make sure to follow that account to keep up with our adventures as we continue North, but I threw together a quick video to show you a part of our day today.
We took the dogs for a walk to the beach
