Following on from my previous video I wanted to put together a little video about steem delegation links and to show you how to construct a text link that will take you to steemconnect and that you can share on your steemit blog or as a set of links inside of you @dlive posts to ask those people in the community to donate or delegate some steem power to your to have more curation reward power in the steem eco system.
You never know you might pick up a steem whale that loves what you do and wants to delegate a bit of steem power to help your reach and rewards on the platform to keep you incentivised to turn up and do what you do each and everyday while live streaming.
It’s actually really easy and I’ve included the delegation links below for my account @teamhumble — you’ll see when you click them that it takes you away to a website called steemconnect (v2 currently of writing) which is like a login bridge between your login/password details and the service or process you want to achieve.

So let’s break down what’s happening…
What’s happening is that we are calling the function (once signed) in delegateVestingShares and passing our details as the delegator to then power up the delegatee= and providing the vesting amount, you notice that it’s got a hardcoded space with %20 and then the letters SP, you have to have that otherwise the line will break.
And that’s it, fast right? People just click on the link and follow the onscreen prompts to delegate SP (steem power) from their account to you, they have to do nothing, just click on how much they want to delegate and click a few links if they are logged in OR they can click on the custom link url which is a little smaller like this. ..

This uses another service, http://steembottracker.com to provide that custom amount but they also use steemconnect v2 to do all the auth so you are pretty secure in using them. I hope that helps you get some steem delegation from the whales out there. Best of luck and happy hunting! :)
