Hello Steemian Friends,
We hope everyone is feeling fine this week! Yes, it's just the beginning, but if you are looking forward to the weekend then it's only a few days away!
Anyway, we're back with another Tasty Tuesday's and sticking with last week's theme as well as our Steemit Sandwich Contest Entry for Week 41, we're showing you another vegan dish. This time, how to make Vegan Nutella! What?!? Yes, Nutella is not vegan as it has milk (powder) and although Becca is not fully vegan, she is lactose intolerant. Therefore, she cannot have the delicious Nutella spread! Yet, the fact she is lactose intolerant does not deter her from baking cakes and cookies. She has a sweet tooth and has been searching the web and the organic stores (here in Bangkok) to see if the stars align for her to make this nutty and chocolaty goodness! It did as she found a simple recipe online to make this cocoa hazelnut spread that she can enjoy whilst finding the products in our local supermarket!
Ingredients:
- Roasted Hazelnut (2 cups)
- Coconut Sugar (1 cup)
- Coconut Oil (1/2 cup)
- Almond Milk (or any plant based milk - soya, rice, etc.) (1 cup)
- Cocoa powder (1 cup)
- Salt (pinch)
- Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)
Utensil:
- Blender
- Measuring cup
