Storing Files The SPK Way
A few days ago my profile picture stopped working. A few of you around Hive have Hive Folks NFTs as their profile pictures and several more have Beez NFTs as theirs (especially on X). I think it's pretty cool and I'd like to keep it working. Anyway, after some brief troubleshooting the problem was the IPFS copy of the NFT wasn't coming out of the public nodes, maybe it's too big and it got garbage collected... and really that's been the biggest issue with using IPFS! But now we have SPK, and for the first time I got to solve a problem by uploading some files to SPK network.
So this post will hopefully do a couple of things. It contains three files, BZ, DLUZ, and HF NFTs. Which are stored on 2 contracts. It will have a 10% benificary fee to @dlux-io which should statisfy the conditions for one of the contracts. One our front-end dlux.io you should be able to interact with both of those contracts and extend them.
Test SPK Network
You can now run a storage node for the SPK Network... or if you are a little savvy and have a domain name you can run a full suite of SPK software. We're still building out our software for you all to use but feel free to try it out and provide any and all feedback about bugs, ease of use... and features you'd like to see.
Download SPK
Please follow me, @spknetwork and @nathansenn to learn more about the software and it's progress.
