With the lifting of the Dutch government lockdown rules a new phase reaches again where in it is not clear how everything will be looking over the next upcoming months. Will lifting these measures make an extra second wave of Covid-19 ill patients, or will this be postponed untill when winter starts kicking in again next to the regular flu. We feel us drifting in our hopes and expectations.
Like this airborne dog whe have no idea where we will be landing in the end. If you ask me going back to how our society used to be isn't something that is realistic. Unlimited travel with hardly any visa or quarantine and also the global production of how products are made and how dependent we are on one and another making a small break in the chain a superfast weak link, is seems like those days are over.
To me I expect there will be a phase before Corona and after. Before was luckily for me an awesome phase, with moving abroad, working abroad, sky is the limit and endless trips all over the world. I am happy I visited so many countries over the last couple of years, because honestly....I don't know how this all will look like in the future.
Call me pessimistic you may or realistic, the choice is on you. Maybe it is because I see the other side of it while taking care of the ill people. Hell, I even had my first Covid testing earlier which luckily turned out negative. On the other hand.....Might as well test positive for the piece of mind while taking care of the patients. I don't know.
I wish we could go back to the phase where there were no concequences on anything, like how Sem the dog in the picture. Literally going for it without any fear and just seeing how everything turns out. But that seems like a thought of the past.
Luckily Sem the dog will never loose those thoughts. It is a pleasure seeing this guy go airborne. Happy weekend yall!
