I downvoted @donekim's post in Trending that looked as if it had been boosted with bid bots along with a few other high rep Steemians. I consider it my duty to use my downvoting power to see to it that no posts in Trending that look as if they have boosted votes have a positive return on investment on the purchased votes stay positive. Using bid bots must always have negative return on investment for Proof-of-Brain to have the remotest chance of working on Steem.
As a result, he downvoted all of my active posts. Very little damage was done and I'm not looking for countervotes as his effective voting power is negligible because he has delegated almost all of his 15,000 or so SP to some kind of a project.
But I have to wonder whether the Korean community actually knows about #newsteem and how retaliatory downvoting is #oldsteem bullshit. Is there anyone among the readers that speaks Korean and talks regularly to the Korean speaking community? Are they even aware that downvoting posts that appear boosted in Trending is not an act of aggression but necessary for the rewarding mechanism to work properly?
