When and how the winner is chosen
When this post closes (seven days after its publication) the blocktrades page will be used and the price of 100 STEEM will be compared with the BTC. This will generate a figure with many digits, then the last digits will be taken to choose the winner. The number of digits taken will depend on the number of participants.
This is a changing number whose value depends on the values of STEEM and BTC on the day of the election. To give you an example, if I had to choose the winner at this moment and the participants were less than 10, a single digit would be chosen, which would be the last one. Then the participant number 2 would win
