Sime – the name sounds like "si mê" (means "to be deeply in love" in Vietnamese). This coffee shop has been around for about 10 years. When I was in high school, I really wanted to sit here and drink milk tea after school.🫣
Now I finally had time to come back. 🤩Things have changed, but I still have many memories, so I want to share this place with you – especially if you are looking for a quiet, local coffee shop in Thái Phù, Sóc Sơn, Hà Nội.
The shop is quite small, only about 4 tables inside, so it can feel a bit tight if it’s crowded. But it’s very clean and tidy. There are fans inside so it’s cool even on hot days.🥰
Outside, there are many green plants and big umbrellas for shade, which make the front look green and fresh.🍀🌱
What’s special here is the Vietnamese traditional decoration. On the walls, there are photos of Uncle Ho, the Vietnamese flag, soldiers, and images from the wartime. If you wear a traditional Vietnamese dress (áo dài) and take pictures here, they look really nice and meaningful.🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳
The main colors of the shop are white and light brown, which gives a cozy feeling. The lighting is not too strong, good for both relaxing and taking photos.👏🏻🫶🏻
The menu includes coffee, hot tea, milk tea, smoothies, fresh fruit juice, and fruit tea. Drinks come in paper or plastic cups depending on the type. Milk tea is in paper cups, fruit tea in plastic cups.🧋🧋🥤🥤🍧🍶
I’ve been here many times with my friends. We took a lot of cute photos together and tried different drinks.

If you come, I highly recommend trying the roasted egg cream milk tea and the avocado coconut smoothie – they taste really good and are my favorites here.
👏🏻
I used to drink their milk tea before – it tasted quite good. But this time I tried something new: mangosteen passion fruit tea.
Honestly, I was very disappointed.
The drink costs 35,000 VND, but there was almost no mangosteen inside. It was mostly passion fruit, and the taste was too sour. I think because passion fruit is cheap, they used a lot of it. But mangosteen is the main ingredient, and there were only 1 or 2 tiny pieces that I could barely taste.🤒🥴
Before this, I reviewed a fruit tea shop called Nuta (also in Sóc Sơn). The same price, but their mangosteen topping was full – I had to use a spoon to eat it. The tea was fresh, tasty, full of fruit. That’s what real fruit tea should be. You can read post here:
So for me, in this area, Nuta is still the top choice for fruit tea. Sime’s fruit tea is not worth the price, and the flavor was weak.
Sime is a good place if you want a quiet seat, simple decoration, and Vietnamese traditional feeling. The photos of Uncle Ho and the war make it special. If you wear áo dài, this is a nice place to take pictures.
But for drinks, I recommend you try their milk tea, not the fruit tea.
