So, I cashed out on Steem and bought some toys. The first new toys were Mini Talon FPV V-Tail airplanes.
The first one I went with an 80s skate theme.

I took this one out to the beach and it flew exceptionally well.
I was so impressed with the durability and flight, that I started building a second one with long range capabilities.
This one is stacked with a crossfire receiver, 700mw 2.4ghz VTX, and a Matek F405 Wing FC.
The Pepperbox equipped ground station should get me well passed the 5 mile threshold.
The talon can carry massive 4S batteries. I currently fly a 4S 5200mah battery and it will go well passed 30 minutes without much effort. The Mini Talon cruises at around 40 mph.
It handles 15 to 20 mph wind pretty well.
