Hello to all Steemians who has been following this newsletter progress of our very first exposé to make sure #teammalaysia very own t-shirt come to reality.

Procurement is very interesting; and detail is of utmost importance.

Especially when you realise that there are certain colours and words became copyright reserved.

On our last newsletter you have noticed how our new design all agreed by the council of elders and then greatly received by the #teammalaysia family.

Copyright. Never step over to other people's boundaries.

But then yesterday I have just received news that there was a change, due to copyright reserve problems.

So I quickly scrambled to redesign the front t-shirt to make sure that it will look good and to make sure whatever that is not supposed to be there to be taken out.

But we have decided to intrigue others to see where #teammalaysia so there was a little modification at the back of the t-shirt.

When other expectations did not go well

Then we realised that the customised name print was not able to create the colour that we would have hoped for, so after a few replies early in the morning with the supplier and with #teammalaysia big brother @bitrocker2020 and the rest of the core members (who were awake at the time including @davidke20 ) we have decided to go as per the supplier requested.

Details! Details!

From this exercise we must always not take things for granted that our supplier will always remember our orders.
He could message you for confirmation multiple times just to be sure your instructions are clear; and from there, a screen capture of detailed request has to be counter check with the final design.

And there is where your patience is greatly tested and exercised

You can never take him / her for granted that he / she will remember. Being counter proactive and at the same time practice patience is greatly needed; because they could be handling tons of orders and could mix up everything; especially when you have different requests for different specifics.

So after the to-and-fro communication, we finally were able to come to a confirmation, and we look forward for the first 3 sizes to be printed to see its quality.

Honestly not every day we don’t get to do this and with the upcoming #steemfest , this exposé has become specially meaningful; especially for the decentralised community.

I personally and truly grateful that 90% of the payment are already paid up front, and about 50% is paid by #steem . This has created yet another great adoption of mind-set how we can make full use of steem not just as an earning capacity for exchange into fiat; but to acknowledge its usefulness and the almost seamless transaction has helped many to see how huge a cryptocurrency potential can be, when it is used on a very practical purpose.
