My peeps from the Atari ST scene managed to recover a few of my old YM2149 chiptunes as 7an/Sync from the late 80s/early 90s. A couple of the tracks had some loops in matching tempos and keys so I mashed them together with some modern sounds (some of which I downsampled for additional retro effect) and created this song. Drums were always a weak spot for the YM so this track has been treated with some heavy beats for your enjoyment. Make sure to listen on decent speakers or at least with a subwoofer. The iconic envelope bass of late YM songs has been left intact save for some careful EQing -- it's too damn awesome to touch. A lead has been added as well in order to capture some of that melodic magic from the era.

EDIT: remastered in December, 2014 for better dynamics, more pleasant EQ/reverb and a kick drum that works better on small speakers.
