I made the six songs in this medley with Audio Sculpture on the Atari ST as a teenager back in '90-'91 (as 7an/SYNC). The first two, Brutalbanan and Bobby on the Move, are probably my best tunes from the days before I went to Musicians Institute in LA. Listening to them now, you can already hear traces of what would become Amplitude Problem 20 years later. I recall meticulously sampling all the instruments for them from my Roland U-20 at the highest quality possible. I had four channels available to me, so chords had to be cleverly sampled and different instruments had to share time slices on the same track. Just like we had to optimize our code back then, we also had to optimize our music. The other four tracks -- Sweet Seven, Funxen, Muziqus Zlemmulus and Synchron Assembly Intro -- are using mostly (all?) borrowed instruments. I mastered these tracks so they'd work together in a sequence (and removed some mud); they won't sound much better than this unless I remake them. :)
