Today I will teach you Directions in portuguese.
- Direção - Direction
- Transporte - Transportation
- Esquerda - Left
- Direita - Right
- Frente - Straight
- Perto - Near
- Longe - Far
- Rua - Street
- Destino - Destination
If you want to ask someone for directions you would say:
- Onde fica?/Where is?
- Pode ajudar-me?/Can you help me please?
- Pode indicar-me?/Can you show me?
Let's check now this conversation between two people:
- Olá. Desculpe, pode indicar-me onde é este restaurante?/Hi. Excuse me. Can you show me where this restaurant is?
- Olá. Sim, claro. Siga em frente nesta rua, depois vire à direita e por fim à esquerda e chegará ao seu destino./Hi! Yes, of course. Go straight on this street, then turn right and finally left and you will arrive at your destination.
