I recorded this sound in Vietnam next to our house where we lived! I could hear it in the distance and between me and the house was a river and I couldnt come closer.
The sound was around 200 meters away but I saw two men hammering the house wall down with a huge sledgehammer! No machines, just men power and it sound amazing!
I have a friend who uses this sound for a bombing sound in a WW2 movie. He is going to use some parts and layers to great a bombing in the distance sound!
At the beginning of the sound I had a little fun and pitched the hammering just a few semitones down and after that, the normal hammering sound begins!
I just created this to give you an idea what is possible but you can just cut this part out and make your own creation out of it!
For the recording, I used the Zoom 6 and nothing else! In the recording, I used a noise reduction tool to get rid of most of the noise.
The bit rate is 96/24 and the format is WAV.
