So because of the whole 3speak drama and not fixing their broken site I took it upon myself to switch over to Dtube.
Nothing against 3speak but their site had stopped working for me and after not being able to publish my videos I decided it was best for me to find A new platform.
I contacted @adetorrent regarding Dtube after watching his video and he was very helpful and even gave me some DTC (dtube token) to get started.
So here we can see my Dtube channel, Not many videos yet but that plans to change going forward.
What has interested me on Dtube however is their own token DTC.
Not only does Dtube publish my videos to hive it also publishes them on their frontend (if you have enough DTC token) where I can earn more DTC and HIVE. That means I am earning two different cryptos.
The more DTC you have the quicker your VP (voting power) increases, You need voting power to publish the videos and comment if you don't have any do not worry your videos will still post to hive but not onto the Dtube site.
more VP = More power and more influence on Dtube.
My favourite thing about Dtube right now has to be the simplicity of publishing A video.
We have the traditional file upload which is straight forward and simple to use but what really stands out is the third party option.
If you have A YouTube channel or media channel somewhere You can directly publish that content onto DTube just by copying the Link and skip all the file loading times.
Despite only publishing, 3 videos as of this post I have had no issue regarding uploading and My videos are published very quickly whereas 3speak typically took me 30+ minutes.
Overall I am happy I made the switch the site is working well for me and I haven't run into issues as of yet and I look forward to continuing to publish videos onto the platform.
