Hi Friends!
Before digging into this cool new feature, I'd like to take a second and mention what an awesome tool Canva is for creatives. If you aren't already using it - it can really help up your game on @dtube video thumbnails, or to make graphics for blog posts. Or if you are like me - you can also use it to spice up your @actifit daily reports! (I use actifit on my secondary account - @shinebright!)
They literally have thousands and thousands of beautifully made templates for any type of application - Youtube, Instagram, Facebook... and even posters, album art covers, logo design and tons more. All of these designs are the perfect dimensions for the various applications listed - so it takes the guesswork out of how your thumbnail image will look once uploaded.

The best part is? The app is totally free to use! You can either download the app or use the website canva.com in a browser.
Updated Feature
In this video - I do a screenshare and show you guys the new color drop feature. Even though Canva has a lot of templates - they give you tons of options for customizing colors, fonts and style. Getting the right colors all together can make or break a good thumbnail image - and their new color dropper takes the guesswork out for you.
It basically allows you to grab the exact color of another hue in the picture - to make sure everything looks super professional and clean.
Yes, this is not new technology. You could upload your photo into a separate site - grab the color code - and then manually input it into canva. But that just adds a few extra steps to the process. Now it is built right into the app so it couldn't be easier!
For example - last night when I was making my Actifit cover image - I was able to make my font the exact color of my beanie - so I knew it would look good and match.

I hope you guys found this helpful! I'm sure stoked about this new feature so I can more easily make sure all of my colors look good together.
For example - in the thumbnail image of this post... the pink actually came from my plant stand at the bottom of the photo and the grey came from my tank top!
