Hey Oladokun,
In Ireland you currently only need to register your drone with the IAA if its over 1kg. With my drone I don’t have to register. The main and most strict law is you are not allowed fly any drone closer than 5 km from any aerodrome. This is a bummer for me as I live very close to the main International airport. I would never even risk flying here. Just wouldn’t put peoples lives at risk.
In general areas you’re not allowed fly above 120m unless you get permission. Strictly speaking, you are not aloud fly over urban areas such as villages, towns & cities however this rule is broken a lot.
