In his first reaction after Chandrayaan 2's lander 'Vikram' lost contact with the ground stations on Saturday ahead of the soft landing, Isro chief K Sivan said this mission will not affect other projects. He further said the mission was not a failure, not had any setback, just lost a small percentage of information.
