Two great teams, giants of European football both. Madrid going for number thirteen, Liverpool a sixth crown of their own. The game promises to be a cracker, Liverpool's swift and devastating attack against Real Madrid's experience, big-game savvy (this would be their third European Cup IN A ROW) and of course Christiano Ronaldo.
The game has been sold by many as Ronaldo against Mo Salah, two players capable of changing and winning a game single-handedly. Ronaldo and Lionel Messi might continue to thrive in their autumn years but soon somebody else will lay claim to the title of best player in the world. After one astonishing season it is too soon for Salah to claim that crown but scoring in a Liverpool win tonight would do his cause no harm at all.
Expect drama, expect goals, expect controversy, expect Sergio Ramos to get at least a yellow card. Will there be a miracle in Kiev? Will Ronaldo continue his quest to be regarded as the greatest player of all time? Or will Mo Salah cap an incredible season with an incredible goal in this incredible debut season for Liverpool?
