After looking at dtube a little I came across some stuff that really confused me and it made me think of some concerns.
Could dtube be a deathblow to the steemit platform?
Can I just post other peoples videos and get paid? A cartoon channel that says its just going to archive cartoons on steemit and its making 30 bucks a post? Its not even a day old account and making over 60 bucks in 24 hrs for uploading videos anyone can watch online for free at hdonline.to
can I download a bunch of other peoples work and upload it to dtube and get paid on steemit?
Why make new content then if you can just download videos and post them for more money then spending hours on something original?
Should I start uploading blood drive and the walking dead? Should I make a movie account and just upload movie after movie after movie after movie after movie?
Can I just paste something like this at the bottom of my uploads (like this person) and its ok to make money off of?
*I do not claim to own this, it is made by Adult Swim,
...and now Rick and Morty will forever be on the Blockchain! 100 thousand years morty, all their adventures, on the chain forever morty, forever and ever. rick and morty for ever 3000!
No You cant!
How is no one calling this out?
I think dtube might get shut down if it becomes a place filled with copyright infringment and once that video is in the blockchain its there forever if that chain is to continue growing.
What happens if adult swim wants it removed and sues?
I don't think this will end well.
What happens when Disney gets into it cause something they own is on the chain and they want it removed? warrner brothers ect.
who ends up paying the company sueing for removal of their property from the blockchain. Its not like them killing the link to the site hosting it and removing the video from the host.
once the video is in the blockchain it cant be removed.
What happens when someone wants their property off the chain after it was put on without permission?
O.o
