Steem is a platform with over 1 million accounts. While many are inactive at the moment, there are a number of applications with tens of thousands of different wallets holding the tokens.
This is a major selling point to many businesses. Most businesses are looking for avenues to move their products and services. With the different communities forming, businesses have a built in platform.
Actifit was the first app to offer a marketplace. This is an enormous breakthrough. That app can now solicit different businesses in that genre to see if they are interested in having their products and services sold in the marketplace.
This could be the next evolution of Steem.
