I been shooting a series of short films for 2 years and haven't gotten around to editing until now.
Last Summer me and my brother Matt convinced our parents to take a 6+ hour drive trip up north to mountain bike for 6 days. We rented an isolated cabin outside of town & it ended being the most bonding family experience ever. However, it rained for 2-3 days when we arrived. Only giving us 2-3 days to actually ride and explore. The first day we got to ride was a trail system biking distance outside of Saranac Lake called Dewey Mountain.
Dewey Mountain was a simple, well maintained trail system for beginner to intermediate riders. Even though there are black diamond trails I did not find them to be more difficult than the black diamonds back in New Jersey. Felt more like a blue in my opinion. Very well marked & plenty of trails to descend down off of to your right as your climbing up the mountain. Mixed up smooth berms and rocky chunk terrain with some rock rolls as well.
Ride On! Stay Junkie!
This has been the 1st part of my ADK trip.
