I believe the eBTC were acquired in Airdrop. The beauty is that most people, close to 7000-8000 people got the Airdrop. And this creates a currency with very good GINI index. Infact, if someone wants to get into top 100-200 hodlers then the person need to spend under 1ETH. That's how even it is today. For under 5ETH, you can reach top 20 Hodlers.
