The twentythird of March is history, and it is a new day. But, what happened yesterday? We have had a quite peaceful Saturday in which the leading cryptos have been moving sideways in a quite peaceful way. A couple of tokens have had a small price increase, some have lost a bit of value, and then you have eCash, which has has increased 36% in value during the last 24 hours. What is eCash? Maybe you have heard of its predecessor, Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA).
Back in 2018, a Bitcoin Cash hard fork took place which results in several coins being created. One of those coins were Bitcoin Cash ABC. This never became extremely popular, but it has survived, and in 2021 it was rebranded to eCash. Not only did it rebrand, it also made it feel like a MEME coin. Why is that? If you spend $1 to buy XEC right now, you will end up receiving about 15,000 XEC tokens. If you spend $100, you will own 1,500,000 tokens. Those numbers make it all the more fun, and such tokens are more easy to see hype than those where the tokens "feel more expensive."
This is an interesting token, mostly because it makes you feel rich, and it is also possible to mine if you want to be an old-fashioned cryptocurrency miner. Of course, the equipment is very expensive, and you will not get very rich (unless XEC starts to moon and you have set aside many tokens before that time). But honestly, if you believe in XEC, buy the tokens instead of the miner equipment. It is much easier.

It is interesting to see that not only eCash (XEC), former Bitcoin Cash ABC, has had a good day. The same is true about Bitcoin SV (another outcome of the hard fork in 2018), and the same is true about the original chain, Bitcoin Cash. Besides these, it is worth mentioning the GALA token once again, and also BitTorrent token (BTT).
Not a bad day after all... I am curious to see what the Sunday has to bring.
Do you have any token that you expect to soar in the coming days? Do you think eCash can hold it up?
I don't see much reason to buy this token (besides hype and hoping to get rich quickly). It doesn't seem very revolutionary to me, but who knows. I have seen many promising projects fall dead, while junk and spam tokens survive and soar. Who knows what will happen with eCash?!
