Ode to "T.J."
Hello friends,
Happy evening I wish You.
Some who follow me regularly will notice I "did not" post Art this evening.
I did not create any the last few days, the reason for this is that my "Buddy" and friend to the "End", "T.J." passed on Friday morning. π£ππ£
My promise was to post him at least once a week, that will not happen now - unfortunately.
I wanted to go on about how Great of a Cat he truly was, but I am sure others have Cats and know how great they are, So...
I can only say "T.J." says "Good-bye" to all. This truly "Breaks My Heart". For the curious, his "pancreas" gave out, or that's as close as I get from what the "Vet person", and my research lets me know.
Some would think it was cruel for me to let him live three more days after that, and he should have been euthanized.
Not So!
First, humans do not (legally,) euthanize each other - for any reason.
And two...
Although he "did" act like height recover on Thursday.. By Friday morning he was almost gone.
I figured I would show him the Love he showed me...
So I wanted him to see where he grew up and lived - instead of some box they are going to pump gas in.
He meant Everything to me (he Greatly influenced my next house) so I should show that to him.
He died in my arms with me holding his paw.
He was exactly 1 year old, and the saddest thing.
In the past year except his aunt most of his family has mysteriously died...
So some photos of him, in his better days,
Watching the yard,
Taking a bath on my chair,
More Uard Watching,
Getting a drink,
Catching a nap (blue became his favorite color)
And here as well,
And I buried him about an hour after he died, and then...
This Ibis flew into the yard. So unusual as they do live around here, but like the Herons and such that live here - they don't go where they can't see water, and Ibis do not hang around alone. So I consider it a Blessing of sorts ππΌππΌππΌ
Thanking whoever for reading this about "T.J.", he was my "Best Friend".
