Today is the first time I reached the Atlas in the No Man's Sky universe. I have been curious about it many times. So today, while on the galaxy map, I pinned my point toward the Atlas. It's just a few hundred light years from my current location before I reach there. When I finally reach the Atlas, I'm stunned by the view. It like a giant living artificial being watching me approach.
It's located in The Mejiga XIII System which has 4 planets in it. The Gek has been the dominant lifeform in this system.
Entering the Atlas. We can see a giant, moving ball like lifeform floating on an altar from the entrance.
Look how huge the giant red ball is. No alien inside. So I am alone with this ball.
While approaching the red ball in front of me, my vision become blurry. I can see double me sometime. After interacting with the computer figure on the altar, the Altas seem to be trying to communicate with me, which I don't understand. So after being done with the computer, the Atlas finally calmed down, and I can walk normally without blurry vision. There are many smaller balls in here that are glowing on the floor, which, if I step on them, will give me knowledge of the alien's words. So I think, this Atlas is a place where you learn alien words. This new words that I just learn will added to my total knowledge of Gek alien race's tongue.
