Today I was fortunate to discover that I was one of the winners of the Shadow Hunter Contest and as part, I won 100 Ecency points, which is great! I have been avidly collecting every little point I earn for using this platform (if I can call it that) and I identify myself too much with the look and feel of Ecency, more than with Peakd for example, although honestly, he is very stylish and I always keep an eye on the content there, mainly to vote for the Terminal staff (link at the end of the text).

The fact is that I almost always use the points to "boost" my own content, it is an interesting way to give that strength to a post that you feel you could have paid more for and you only have a few cents (tear running down the corner of the eye), I think of boost as a mechanism similar to the voting bots that existed in Steemit and apparently do not exist here (or I didn’t see them). However, in addition to this "boost", there is the "promote" that supposedly puts you in more prominence and increases the chances of being seen and voted. But honestly? I had practically no success with the idea of promoting my posts. I believe that it did not increase even five votes with the promotion. Perhaps it works better for those who already have greater voting power, are already seen more by users and then, increases the reach of your post which would be good in itself.
But still, despite the bad experiences I had with the post promotion, I would like to know from you Hivers, what do you do with the points? Do you use them to boost? Do you promote posts? Have you seen better results in one way or another? Thank you in advance for the interaction and opinion on the subject, I usually feel a lack of "tutorials" in the Hive ecosystem and even though I feel more connected and productive here, I feel that I lose a lot because of a lack of information, but little by little I find my way!

Hoje tive a felicidade de descobrir que fui um dos ganhadores do Shadow Hunter Contest e como parte do prêmio ganhei 100 pontos do Ecency, o que é ótimo! Eu tenho recolhido avidamente cada pequeno ponto que ganho por fazer uso dessa plataforma (se é que posso chamar assim) e me identifico demais com o visual e funcionamento do Ecency, mais do que com o Peakd por exemplo, apesar que sinceramente, ele é muito estiloso e sempre estou de olho no conteúdo por lá, principalmente para votar no pessoal do Terminal (link no final do texto).
O fato é que quase sempre utilizo os pontos para dar "boost" no meu próprio conteúdo, é uma forma interessante de dar aquela força para um post que você sente que podia ter rendido mais e está com apenas alguns centavos (lágrima escorrendo no canto do olho), eu penso no boost como um mecanismo semelhante aos robôs de votos que havia no Steemit e aparentemente não existem aqui (ou eu é que não os enxerguei). Porém, além do tal "boost" existe o "promote" que supostamente te coloca em mais destaque e aumenta as chances de ser visto e votado. Mas sinceramente? Não tive praticamente nenhum sucesso com a ideia de promover meus posts. Acredito que não aumentou nem mesmo uns cinco votos com a promoção. Talvez ela funcione melhor para quem já tem um poder de voto maior, já é mais visto pelos usuários e então, aumenta o alcance de seu post que já seria bom por si só.
Mas ainda assim, apesar das experiências ruins que tive com a promoção de post, gostaria de saber de vocês Hivers, o que fazem com os pontos? Vocês os usam para dar boost? Promovem os posts? Viram melhores resultados de uma forma ou de outra? Agradeço desde já a interação e opinião sobre o assunto, costumo sentir uma falta de "tutoriais" no ecossistema do Hive e mesmo me sentindo já mais conectado e produtivo aqui, sinto que perco muita coisa por mera falta de informação, mas pouco a pouco eu encontro o meu caminho!
