A mere .10 % separating the 10y & 2y US Bond yields.
Here are the first two things I see when googling yield curve inversion
US markets are closed Wednesday, supposedly for #41s passing, but I’m not convinced it is the only reason for the markets closing, but just a hunch.
Published inflation is 3%, how about I sell u a bond yielding less than 2.8% & another one with four times more length for a whopping .1% more yield! Wow, & did I mention that these bonds are in a currency destined for hyperinflation death caused by long term corruption among those in charge of protecting its value? Doesn’t that sound like a great investment to you?
These government funny monies are holding us all back, even the people in charge of them know it, but all that power must be very addicting.
We need to decentralize economics “bigly”.
Decentralize food, Gold, Silver, Crypto, & everything else.
People will always be people & our systems need to be designed to protect us from that fact.
