Today January 26th is Australia Day, this day is when the first fleet of colonists ships landed in Sydney. There is still on going debate if this exact date should really be celebrated in what is said to be 'an inclusive day for Australians' despite the fact this marks the day aboriginals lost their land and have been oppressed ever since. Today is a continued reminder that we shouldn't be celebrating colonists ideals that we really need to look back into history and really understand the other perspective & indeginous wisdom.
