The question of the week is back with another thought provoking question! I have met quite a few really nice people over my life that have told me that they will never have kids. When i asked them why they told me that they don't want to bring children into this world because it is cruel and because of the general state of the things. My initial reaction to this was to say " That is a shame", because it seemed sensible to me that the best people to have children are those that are good healthy and balanced people. They would, in theory, make good children and that may even help things to improve. With that being said, i am still wondering if there is some wisdom to their thinking.
So i am very curious what you all think, and also if there are any correlations to nationality, age, wealth and so on. Is it just poor people who think like this, or is it mostly people from the developed world? Do you think having a lot more young people in the world is going to be a boost or a drain on our society? Do we even have enough housing to accommodate them, and if so is there even enough money in the system to allow them to make such a huge purchase. There are so many different things you can look at with this question, and as always im happy to hear your unique perspectives.
This question is open to all, and can be in the form of a post, video, or whatever way you would like to express yourself. Im sure any budding artists out there could come up with a cool cartoon sketch to illustrate the issue. Oh if only @stillgideon was posting, he could do a great job on that! Maybe ill try to resurrect him! ;-)
