Old-fashioned school age children activity is almost extinct. The current generations are busy dealing with such a sophisticated technology where it is still debatable about the advantage and disadvantage of developing social capacity of school age children. Old fashioned activity contains some lesson learnt where the children posses the social interaction sensitivity. It must be confessed, the old fashioned activity is able to sharpen the ability to solve the problem in the field and it also enhance the personality aspect throughout the activity that they deal with. We, of course, had been through the phase of being childhood, we spent much time doing outdoor activity with our folks, play in the rain, rolling tire, being savior and many other activities that directed to strengthen the mentality and personality.
However, old fashioned activity tends to train the school age children to obtain some social issues, such caring, sharing, cooperating, and protecting. Those issues rise from personality of school age children during they were doing those activities. I still recalled when it was raining, we rushed out to play with drop, laughing with friends and acted like a free boy when I sensed the power of drop. This activity was risky but we felt no way to feel so. We enjoyed what we were doing even our parents would reprimand us. All we needed was how to play good in the rain. When the rain stopped, we continued rolling the tire along the road, the tire that we found in the workshop became a play tool.
This activity also trained school age children to have sense of competition that will be useful for them in the future. Here, the best tire roller would be champion, so school age children were trained to always practice to set the perfect position of placing the tire. It was simple game thought, but it had a solid social interaction meaning, where one another involved intense communication during the race. It was the moment of being the one who were acknowledged as friendship hub.
This the most happiest moments for the village boys. The friendship is tightly built in this bathing activity. The children will find their identity in such old-fashioned activity will then become social integrity individual. Those old-fashioned activities will uphold the process of being socially interactive person. That is the prominent competency that must be possessed by school age children in order to create the golden generations in the future.
