Central Board of Secondary Education announced to go paperless examination to saves 50,000 trees and Rs.100 Crore.
This decision was taken by CBSE because of Capital has suffering by air pollution due to lack of trees and this decision is playing a very important role to save about 50,000 trees.
Uses of paper not only for exam sheets, it need to print admit cards, bulletins, attendance sheets and others educational or intitutional materials. Mr.Anurag Tripathi (CBSE Secretary) explained that maths: "Around 20 pages per examinee annually print to used by CBSE and this would to amount of 300 million pages printed for Candidates around 1.5 crore.
