If you look at stakeholders of education system such as a parent, educational institution, teacher and student, you would understand the structure of it is designed to kill student`s individuality and creativity.
Firstly, parents. Theyre on top of the food chain. Theyre the customers of an educational institution, paying money. If youre very lucky, your parent might support whatever you would like to do. However, a parent generally feels nervous when their kids do the uncommon thing and fall behind peers in terms of a test score. Parents would like their children to get high socio-economic status and therefore demand more study hours for A+ grade, neglecting childrens interest. Educational institutions and teachers have no choice but to follow customer`s opinion rather than respecting students.
Secondly, educational institutions. Theyre the second to parent in the food chain. We need to acknowledge that education is also a form of business and its commercialized. To attract customers, they need standardized numerical data which is used to promote them and build r a reputation. It could be employment rate, top school entrance rate, official test score, etc. For instance, you might see this promotion. “A half of our grads enter top-university for last 15 years and your children should join us!” Therefore, the first priority for educational institutions is to maximize secular output and theyre designed to instill information to improve students test score rather than teaching how to build students character.
Thirdly, teachers. Even if teachers think current education sucks and would like to make a change, its hard to do it as theyre employed by educational institutions which pay attention to their parents rather than students. Have you ever watched the movie "Dead Poets Society" Its a great movie about real education. In the movie, the English teacher Keating encourages a student to make their lives extraordinary and students are pretty inspired by his unorthodox teaching method. While his way is to respect diverse students individuality, on the flip side, it drains uniformity, which school doesnt like. Students loved Keating and followed him. Still, at the end, teacher Keating was fired as school and parents didnt like his teaching method. This movie shows sad reality. What kind of teachers on the earth would take the risk to get fired? Some of teachers might have sense of duty like Keating but I think that`s very, very small group.
Lastly, students. They should experience as many things as possible to understand themselves and ask questions. Whats strength and weakness, whats my purpose and goal, etc. Ironically, although they should be the one who designs their life, theyre largely controlled by adult groups and education system makes students obedient and stupid. Theyre the innocent victims who lose individuality as well as creativity by education system.

두 번째로, 교육기관들. 그들은 먹이사슬에서 부모에 이은 두 번째로 높은 위치입니다. 우리는 교육도 비즈니스의 형태며, 상업화된다는 것을 인정해야 합니다. 고객들을 끌어오기 위해서, 교육기관은 정형화된 정량적 데이터가 필요하고, 이것은 교육기관을 홍보하고 명성을 쌓는데 이용됩니다. 데이터는 취업률이나, 명문대 진학률, 공인 시험 점수 등이 될 수 있습니다. 예를 들어 아마 당신은 이런 광고를 본 적이 있을 수 있습니다. “지난 15년간, 우리 졸업생들의 절반이 명문대에 입학했습니다. 당신의 자녀도 우리와 함께 해야 합니다” 따라서, 교육기관은 세속적인 결과를 극대화하는 것을 최우선으로 하고, 교육기관은 정보를 주입하고 학생들의 시험 점수를 올리게끔 설계됩니다. 학생의 인격도야를 가르치는 것보다는 말이죠.

마지막으로 학생들. 그들은 자신을 이해하기 위해 가능한 많은 것을 경험하고, 질문을 해야 합니다. 나의 장단점이 뭐고, 나의 목적과 목표는 무엇인지 등등. 역설적이게도, 학생들이 자신의 삶을 설계할 주체임에도 불구하고, 그들은 어른들에 의해 크게 좌지우지 되고, 교육 제도는 학생들을 멍청하고 순종적으로 만듭니다. 그들은 교육 제도에 의해 개성과 창의성을 잃는, 순수한 희생자일 뿐입니다.
여기 교육제도의 이해관계자들을 한 번 봐보세요. 이런 구조에서, 각자의 이해관계는 일치하지 않고, 학생들은 비효율적인 교육제도와 속물적인 어른들에 반대하기 쉽지 않습니다.
