Problem chanllenging the use ICT in African higher institution
Good day my co-steemian, happy to be back here after some months without writing a single post
Today, I will be emphasising on the problem affecting the use of ICT in higher institution
ICT means information and communication technology
ICT it is the summation of networks, hardware and software as well as all several means of communication, management and exchange of data
The use of ICT in teaching and learning enable learner to be self-centered
And it's of no doubt that ICT can empower teachers and learners in the process aiding effective teaching and learning,
ICT provide students, learners and researchers in an advance country the power to bride the knowledge gap between them and their mates in develop country, however ICT also facilitate communication between teachers and learners.
In educational sector, ICT resources include computers, scanners, printers, email, video-phone system, radios, microwaves, multimedia projector, satellite, wireless application protocol (WAP), intranet, and teleconferencing devices,
🔆 factor affect the use of ICT in higher institution includes
🔆poor Network facilities on campus
🔆 technology tools are too difficult to use
🔆 students inadequate ICT skill
🔆poor power supply
🔆low expertise
🔆 difficulty in integrating ICT in teaching course such as chemistry, biology etc
🔆 inadequate ICT equipment on campus
🔆 learners feedback on ICT support was poor
If all this problem are visited and well attended to, effective teaching and learning We occur through information communication technology....
