Machine Tool is a Machine tool used to cut a rotated object. Lathe itself is a process of fixing the workpiece whose incision is done by rotating the workpiece then worn on the chisel which is moved in translational parallel to the axis of rotation of the workpiece. The rotary movement of the workpiece is called relative cutting and moving translations of the chisel is called the motion of the feed.
By adjusting the comparison of the rotation speed of the workpiece and the translational speed of the chisel, it will be obtained various threads with different sizes of the range. This can be done by swapping the translational gears that connect the spindle shaft with the threaded shaft.
Exchanging gear is specifically provided to meet the needs of thread making. The number of teeth in each exchange gear varies in magnitude ranging from the number 15 to the maximum number of teeth 127. The exchange gear with a total of 127 has a specificity as it is used for the conversion of metric threads to inch screw.
Work principle
The spindle shaft will rotate the workpiece through the carrier disk so that it spins the gears on the spindle shaft. Through the connecting gear, the rotation will be delivered to the screw shaft gear. By threaded clamps, the rotation of the screw shaft is converted into translational motion on the slicer carrying the chisel. As a result on the workpiece there will be a screw-shaped incision.
Lathe parts
The lathe consists of a desk and a fixed head. Inside the head there remains a transmission wheel swivel gear that will rotate the spindle axle. Spindle shaft will rotate the workpiece through block. The main Eretan will move along the table while carrying skates and tops and sculptures. The main source of all such motion comes from the electric motor to rotate the pulley through the belt.
