EMC2 goes up 70% as Weee Cash social coin release comes near
I tried to find another reason for the jump, but I couldn't.
On March 7th they announced that Ben Kurland had joined as a the Chief Strategist
We are happy to announce that Ben Kurland has joined the EMC2 team as Chief Strategist. Ben is an actor (he appeared in the Academy Awards Best Picture winner, The Artist) and is also a crypto enthusiast and evangelist. Ben will be helping EMC2 to create strategic partnerships in the finance, technology, and philanthropy sectors. He will also be helping to grow the community by creating a greater awareness for the utility of EMC2 as well as the altruistic mission of the foundation.
I can't imagine that being a reason for the jump.
Einsteinium (EMC2) wasn't listed on any new exchanges and it still is only on Bittrex and Upbit of exchanges that are any value. So, that wasn't the news.
The Weeee Cash launch is still a few days away. The site still just has the countdown timer on it. The announcement of Weeee Cash relase was on Feb. 20th. So, I don't think this was a delayed reaction. You figure they would release it on St. Patrick's Day, to go along with the name, but I guess, having a weee cash on the 16th will help you buy a weee bit of green beer on the 17th.
The app allows people to transfer EMC2 and will also provide a map so that they can find stores near them that will accept EMC2. As far as I can tell, there isn't going to be any new coin created from the release of the application, so I'm not sure why this milestone has caused a big interest in Einsteinium.
Back in November 2017, I watched EMC2 go from $0.50 to $2.50 and then drop back down below $0.50 in 2018. Getting in at $0.20 just a few days ago would provide for a great ROI today. So, while this jump looks great, it is just bringing the price back to what it was almost 6 months ago. Boy, does time fly.
Let the positive energy sing!
