This whole news article is very telling. And supports what God's remnant have been proclaiming for many years. That the Roman Catholic Church want to bring about an enforced Sunday law, where no work is permitted. A law that is a complete rejection of Jehovah and His holy law, the ten commandments, which specifically states that the 7th day (our Saturday) is the Sabbath day, set apart for rest and holy use, NOT the 1st day (Sunday).
Notice how this news article confirms the church has not been able to 'impose it's view' regarding the Sunday law. And why is that? Again, as the news article touches on, the French took away the power of the Roman Catholic Church in 1798, and since then the Papacy has not had the power to 'impose' it's views. Just as Revelation 13 confirms regarding the 'beast' receiving a mortal wound. But that is changing! That wound is going to be healed, and as Revelation 13 confirms, all the world will wonder after the [PAPAL] beast And with all the trouble in the world today, the leaders will be able to convince the people to submit to the Sunday law for 'peace and safety'.
The Papacy is receiving it's power back again. The fallen Protestant churches are uniting with their 'mother' in this ecumenical movement. The Labor Unions are supporting the Papacy and it's move to enforce the Sunday law. The world leaders are seeking the guidance of the pope and soon, as Revelation 17:12-13 confirms, the 'kings of the earth' will give their 'power and authority to the beast'. But keep an eye on America too. Because this country is the second beast of Revelation 13, and it is setting up an 'image to the beast' - an image to the Papacy, in uniting church and state, and as Revelation 13 confirms, it will be America who 'causes the world' to submit to the Sunday law. And once they have subdued the nations of the world and have control (hence the trouble with North Korea), then Satan will be able to complete his plan.
