Finally, after many months of waiting, I got my copy of the Collector's Edition of one of the most important games of my childhood - "Command and Conquer: Tiberian Dawn". "Red Alert" was much more popular in our country 20 years ago, but for me it was always a game in second place. I loved the Brotherhood of NOD terrorists and Kane too much to get excited by the conflict of the Allies and Soviets. CE was supposed to arrive at the time the game hit Steam, but due to COVID-19, they sent it after October 10 and it came to me after 12 days. Nice delivery time, I expected it to take longer due to the pandemic. Originally, I wanted to buy the most expensive edition, but after a short thought, I found it too expensive. Unfortunately, I do not earn too much, and this version slightly strained my budget. Well, I'll deny myself a few pleasures until the end of this year and I'll break even. At the end of this overview I have posted a link where you can see the exact content of both versions.
As for the content, it looks pretty good. Cards with available technologies are of good quality, the poster looks even better. Plastic Tiberium looks noticeably worse, it gives the impression that it was made with a small financial outlay, but it is possible to survive. All in all, I am glad that I bought this cheaper version, because looking at this plastic, probably the metal Mamooth Tank is made as bad as it is. The flash drive soundtrack comes in two formats - WAV and FLAC. Now I do not have time to listen to him thoroughly on my headphones bought for £ 200, and the other gaming equipment does not present a sufficiently good level for me to listen to him in decent conditions.
Well, it will be time to write reviews for both games. I promised myself that I would do it when the Collector's Edition came to me, so I have no turning back.
