This electric motorcycle has Android and wants to be the' Tesla the motorcycles'.
Tesla fever' has not yet reached the bikes: we have electric motorcycles but there is no clear winner or manufacturer that has stood out from the rest. But Bolt Mobility could be this company that we are looking for: it has received a round of million-dollar financing and its motorcycle project is far ahead of the rest.
The company is from the Netherlands and has received a total of EUR 3 499 272 (approximately USD 4 137 014) in financing. The first million funding was from a Business Angel and the rest has been financed through what is known as' Equity Crowdfunding', which is like a normal crowdfunding, but where people who participate also get shares in the company.

They have also already undergone a reserve phase and before the end of the year could reopen the lists, having to leave a reserve of 10% of the total vehicle.
Just as Tesla has a large screen that occupies much of the dashboard, Bolt also includes a relatively large screen for a motorcycle and, in addition, mounts Android, so we could say that it has an on-board computer.
They haven't specified the Android version they will include, but it's very clear from the renders that it's Android Auto, specific for vehicles, because it has bigger touch controls and the interface is designed to' use it while driving'.
In addition, Bolt has decided to add a safety bonus and therefore have included a push button on each handlebar to control the computer safely, without having to look for buttons on the screen, and with physical buttons, with the clear advantages that includes.
At the bottom of the screen, vital information about the motorcycle is displayed: lights, emergency lights, indicators, battery level, fault light and speed.
As with any Android Auto, we'll be able to install applications, use the GPS navigator (also Galileo), connect our phone via Bluetooth and receive messages and calls, play music, take pictures and videos with your cameras, and receive maintenance tips and reminders.
Autonomy and extras
One of the most impressive things is the luggage compartment, which is 65 litres (it is 3 times more than usual on many other motorcycles) and which has the option of cooling what is inside, or keeping it warm, ideal for distributors, especially (Bolt has specialised a lot in the professional sector, although it is also very attractive for individuals).
It has 3 driving modes: eco (where energy saving is a priority); sport (where speed obviously prevails, at the expense of consumption); and winter (winter). As for the battery, we can choose the number of battery modules: from a single module to six.
The maximum range is 400 kilometres at an average speed of 25 km/h. The motorbike capacity can also be chosen: from 2 kW (35 cc) to 7 kW (125 cc), with the possibility of limiting the speed from 25 to 95 km/h (maximum in any case).
Finally, we have a supercharger with which we can go from charging it to 50 km of range per hour, to 160 km of range per hour that we get with this option (effectively, it is an extra, and not exactly cheap: 540 euros).
Best of all, the Bolt is not much more expensive than any other bike. Its starting price is 2990 euros and, although with extras you can double it, it is a good starting price considering the specifications.
