Some companies have set to work in the development of new types of face masks, such is the case of biodegradable face masks, which avoid contamination after being disposed of in the environment. However, the company LEAF Pro (a company specialized in health technology based in Michigan), has managed to develop a smart mask that can be linked to a mobile App to keep it sanitized for longer.
This smart mask is perhaps one of the most advanced technological proposals in this area, since it eliminates almost all pathogens on its surface through an air filtration system with a quality standard N99, in addition to breaking the paradigm of only showing the 50% of the face, since its transparent surface allows us to clearly see the facial features of the person who uses them. Without a doubt, this is a necessary invention that literally meets a need that most people require. Today's traditional masks have the particularity of being disposable, and offer a certain vulnerability to high rates of Covid infections in the world.
