The launch sequence has begun, stay vigilant for updates. I keep saying that, because it keeps being important.
Voting not (likely) available until tomorrow.
Once it is, I along with others will post links and info for tools / wallets to use to vote and remember --- be careful out there, there are scams literally everywhere.
More than 100 block producer representatives took part in the vote about 24 hours ago as I reported.
EOS was up 6% on the news at $14.67, according to coinmarketcap, but all day today, the whole market has been in the red
When the mainnet goes live then the real-deal and voting on the business end shall start -- voting for block producers.
Prior to voting commencing , EOS holders should be confirming statements from block producers that it is really is safe to vote.
Keep checking the official subreddits for EOS or at EOSauthority. com -- see links just below.
When voting begins, for a chain to be officially launched, remember it must have 15% of tokens out on the market and committed (staked) to it via votes.
- Nobody knows for sure how long this process may take.
I found this statement online today, echoing some of my thoughts helpful too:
With EOS tokens very tightly held with, for example, just four mega whales – individuals or entities – holding 150 million tokens, which equates to 15% of total supply, the election may happen in relatively short order.

Bonus / Reminder info re: 15% of tokens need to vote......
As you can see, the countdown has lapsed past the 00:00 mark and the token freeze is in process, as the network snapshot of our tokens happened days ago , and the launch of the mainnet is underway now. (Yes, still)
As much as many in the liberty and crypto space do not like the idea of elections...... it is a part of the crypto space.
It's awesome seeing so many EOS holders and members doing their research on who they want to see as BP candidates.
At least 150 million #EOS tokens need to be accounted for in a vote before any chain is considered valid.
Whales and exchanges hold a large number of these tokens.
